Esperanza had her stitches removed today. Now I have to do special exercises with her leg during each day, under the guidance of Aideen, Physiotherapist. It is anticipated that it will be at least 4 months before there is a noticeable improvement.
The joint eventually has to bend freely and the foot has to bend forward. The swelling in her foot has reduced considerably but the joint is still very swollen.
Esperanza is a happy little soul, and was enjoying the sunshine today with her friends Autumn and Nugget.
